HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital has been the leader in rehabilitation services in Northern Kentucky since 1987. Unlike skilled nursing facilities, HealthSouth is licensed as a 40-bed acute rehabilitation hospital. Physicians specializing in internal medicine, neurology and pulmonology visit our patients on a daily basis. Patients receive at least three hours of therapy daily from our tenured physical, occupational and speech therapists. A low nurse-to-patient ratio ensures patients receive the highest quality of care. An in-house pharmacist reviews each patient’s profile to ensure medication is dispensed quickly and accurately.

HealthSouth has been a pioneer in introducing new technologies to enhance swallowing, recover arm function and ability to walk after a stroke. In addition to providing inpatient care, HealthSouth offers outpatient therapy services for ages two to adult. Our outcomes speak to the quality of care we provide – 85 percent of our patients return home.
